Wolfburn Northland Single Malt Scotch

Wolfburn Northland is bottled from ex Islay Quarter Casks, unchillfiltered at 46% strength and natural colour, i.e. without added colour.

The Wolfburn Distillery team, led by Distillery Manager Shane Fraser, spent almost two weeks bottling 16,000 bottles of the first Wolfburn single malt - all by hand on site at the distillery.

After the first flow of Wolfburn Spirit from the stills in Thurso in January 2013, this is another major highlight in the history of the young distillery - the most northerly distillery on the Scottish mainland.

Colour:
Light golden yellow

Aroma:
Sweet and fruity. Sea air, then citrus, grain and a hint of smoke.

Palate:
Nutty and sweet with honey and grapes. Floral with coffee and dark chocolate.

Aftertaste:
A little smoky, nicely balanced.
