Tobermory 12 Year Old zraje výhradně v sudech po bourbonu a má živý, ovocný a kořeněný charakter s jemným slaným nádechem. Tato hebridská jednosladová whisky má sladké, medové aroma vanilky, zralých pomerančů a jemných květin. V chuti se objevují tóny čerstvých citrusů, jablek a tropického ovoce, následované krémovým karamelem, květinovým medem a jemně slaným podtónem.
Tobermory 12 Year Old, uvedená na trh v roce 2019, zaujímá ústřední místo v nové základní řadě této palírny. Po dvouleté přestávce, kdy palírna procházela rozsáhlou rekonstrukcí, představila společnost Tobermory nové lahve inspirované barvami ostrova Mull.
After the last two-year break, during which the Tobermory distillery was extensively renovated, the new 12YO was presented, which will be the future flagship of the distillery. In addition to the renovations, the production break was mainly used for "obesessively perfecting and crafting a new signature impression", i.e. for the creation of the new headliner of the Tobermory range, which is first matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks before it receives a 9-month finish in Virgin American Oak.
