In 1998, the distillery reopened and now there is an original bottling again. The 18-year-old special release was created from two different malts. A whisky with green apple notes, distilled from Pombe yeast, was matured in bodega casks.
Mild, rich and sweet with vanilla toffee, herbs and fresh grass. Then becoming nuttier with oak, cream and garden fruits.
Sweet again with honey, sour apples, brown sugar and spicy oak flavours. Fruits with cloves, cinnamon and butter.
Dry and slightly sugary with oak and light aniseed. Apple and spice in the background
